If Joe User can have its X setup working by setting the input de-
vice to /dev/mouse, (s)he won't bother about the  link.  Chanches
are that (s)he won't even notice it. When the user starts wonder-
ing about the reason of the link, (s)he is no  more  an  absolute
novice,  and I'm sure (s)he can understand the reason of the link
itself. IMHO.
