Hi BSD Guru's, I mounted the floppy device using the following: mount -t msdos /dev/fdo /tmp/floppy The diskette was a dos formatted disk with some ".tgz" files. when I execute the following command: cp /tmp/floppy/*.tgz /usr/tmp I would get the following messages: fdc0: input ready timeout fd0c: hard error reading from 288 (No status) I keep getting this message quite often. Whats the problem ? Bhaskar
