This discussion about the placement of JARs, Java source code and Javadoc API 
documentation is for me something to do *after* the initial release of 
bsd.java.mk. One step at a time :)

Wrt the JAR placement: I was thinking of something like INSTALL_JAR, similar 
to INSTALL_DATA or INSTALL_SCRIPT.
