It was Satoshi's wish, since we made the experience in the
past, that sometimes things break. And with a growing ports
collection you can't always test all packages that rely on something.
So it's better to have some versions in parallel, than to break
tings with one commit !

Ok, I also read the QT developers note about compatibility, but
in fact, who knows ...
