But there are always exceptions.  Here, /usr/local is always local to
the individual host, and stuff shared by the entire group is in
/usr/site.  (There is actually a second level of indirection on my
OSF/1 machines, where /usr/site contains nothing by symlinks to files
in /vol, which is automounted.)
