Another small change I suggest to the postgresql7 port: In the startup
script (010.pgsql.sh) put in /usr/local/etc/rc.d shouldn't it log to
/var/log/pgsql.log or something instead of just 'errlog' if it's to properly
 follow the 'hier' specification?
