This marks the first time I ever busted out my multimeter to work on FreeBSD. :) Here is a pin to pin map of the DB9 connectors that I am using: 1,6-4 2-3 3-2 4-1,6 5-5 7-8 8-7 9-null According to a couple online pinout maps this is a proper null modem cable.
