Which application did you try to install? 2. Please give more lines (say, 20 to 30 or so) before the Error code 1 line, because that's the place where the real error is normally listed. It may be possible that the port you're trying to install is broken (doesn't compile cleanly) in your collection. If that's the case, you may wish to update your ports collection and try again.
