Not here (Toshiba Satellite 1605 -- really a branded Compal).  It works if I 
don't use moused, however.  I suspect the problem here is with moused, but 
haven't had time to tear it open (I suddenly got employed).

Not sure if David's seeing the same symptoms, exactly.
