Hi, I'm currently translating the *.hlp files of sysinstall to German, and stumbled across some things that seem to be outdated. Is it true that the "register" functions has been removed from sysinstall? There's still a help file about it which is quite lengthy (help/register.hlp), and it is mentioned in help/shortcuts.hlp. I'd suggest moving it to the Attic. It's about 4 Kbyte, and it might be even enough of a space saving to include some additional device driver on the kern floppy. ;-) Also, help/shortcuts.hlp still mentions "distSetDES", which is obsolete. Also, the manpage sysinstall(8) mentions "distSetCRYPTO", which doesn't seem to exist either. On the other hand, the description of "distSetCustom" is missing in the .hlp file. Sorry, I have no diffs, but well, it's just a matter of removing one file (register.hlp) and two distSet lines. Unless I'm missing something obvious, of course ...
