            Bug ID: 244093
           Summary: Audio "slow" from rear SBLive! output [12.x
                    regression]
           Product: Base System
           Version: 12.1-RELEASE
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: kern
          Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: ml@netfence.it

In my desktop PC I have two soundcards, the one on the motherboard and an o=
ld
PCI SBLive!.

Both have been properly working until I upgraded from 11.3 to 12.1: after t=
hat,
sound the "Rear" output of the SBLive! is slowed and crackling as if the ou=
tput
could not work up to speed. "Front" output and the other card work perfectl=
y,
tough.

So, to recap:

_ "mplayer -ao oss:/dev/dsp0 Track_03.WAV" works perfectly;
_ so does "mplayer -ao oss:/dev/dsp3 Track_03.WAV";
_ "mplayer -ao oss:/dev/dsp1 Track_03.WAV" crackles as if the computer was
under load and could not output sound as fast as needed.
