 I hate to say it, but this looks like you're having the typical sig11
 problems that have their own FAQ entry:

 I assume this because this isn't a common problem, and other folks seem
 to be managing this upgrade without a hitch.  I may be wrong, but if I
 were in your shoes, I should check this possibility first.
