Yet noone has fixed them since they are marked as broken (and not PR opened)
which shows noone was interested into it. They are easy to resurrect if we need
to.

This is what marking as deprecated and broken is for

This discussion happended already many times, yet noone is providing any script
to run in the cluster for that.

It will not appear magically, if someone want that, then someone has to push for
it and not wait for anyone else to do it.

If you or anyone else to provide a script to run which does what you expect I
will happily make sure it is run on regular basis somewhere.
