Justin Gibbs just added support for the Adaptec 7850 controller.
It's in -stable and -current.  If you can install FreeBSD without
using the 7850, then upgrade to -stable you'll be fine.  Otherwise,
you'll have to wait for the next SNAP to get boot disks, I guess.
