If you didn't install fvwm, root doesn't have a window manager to run, and it unfortunately uses fvwm as its session manager. :( You can either delete the .xsession file from root's home directory or install fvwm-whatever to fix it. :) } Thanks... } } Ernie Pistor Patrick L.
