Why does the ``libraries'' target in /usr/src/Makefile cleans automatically? Sure, you can set NOCLEANDIR but then that turns off cleaning *everywhere*, not just the places where it's seemingly redundant (like libraries), and not at all what you want. Comments? If you already know you've made good libraries, why build them again in the second `make all' pass? Jordan
