I have run 2 x tcpblast from a 450Mhz PIII with one 3Com 905B, to a Sun
Enterprise 5000, through a swithched network. I was able to sustain ~97Mb/s.
While this puts minimal load on the systems, it does show that that much data
can be sent through a single nic.
