I hadn't looked into it yet, but I'd imagined that the system would use the db of installed stuff to verify whether some of the dependency stuff was present or not. Right now pkg_info gives me this, sellis@www:/home/sellis/backups> pkg_info ffsrecov-0.5 Recover files from a corrupt FFS ( on the one hand, a reminder of the screw-up that obliterated the db, on the other, as you can see, we're paying more attention to backups ; ) thanks, -- Sean
