-Hello

Situation

- I need to rebuild my FreeBSD Desktop
- I am running

$ uname -a
FreeBSD desktop.freebsd.org 3.3-RELEASE FreeBSD 3.3-RELEASE #0:
 Wed Jun  7 17:50:00 EST 2000
dannyh@desktop.freebsd.org:/usr/src/sys/compile/DESKTOP  i386

- I added the following to my KERNEL
"device pcm0"
ran "/usr/sbin/config MYKERNEL
etc etc
make install

Then after it rebooted I typed in cd /dev
sh MAKEDEV snd0

For some reason I still can't get freebsd to play sound.

Question

1) How do I fix this problem?

Looking forward to your feedback.
