Ok, not can you show us the contents of `/etc/rc.conf' related to
Sendmail?  It's the next thing we have to check to ensure you are not
starting up multiple Sendmail listeners on the default smtp port.

    % grep -i sendmail /etc/rc.conf

should do it :)
