            Bug ID: 277817
           Summary: sysutils/pc-networkmanager: does not add
                    `key_mgmt=3DNONE` field to wpa_supplicant.conf entries
                    to unsecured wifi points
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: amd64
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Some People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: rrogalski@firemail.cc

On this FreeBSD machine, wpa_supplicant.conf needs `key_mgmt=3DNONE` added =
to
unsecured network entries to connect. pc-netmanager seems to always use
wpa_supplicant to connect to any open network on this machine.=20

I would be willing to write and attach a .patch fixing this, but I noticed =
the
upstream repo has been archived for a long hot minute.. do you guys on Free=
BSD
carry .patch's in the ports tree? Or would you perhaps be willing to fork
upstream?

I'm not really a FreeBSD user or know much about it, excuse my ignorance he=
re.
Also how networking is handled here confuses the bajeezles out of me... ( I
miss linux's networkmanager :[ )
