grep 24 /usr/include/sys/errno.h: max open /files/.
This signals that a thread can't be created, cause there's too many open
files. Any chance your program/library loops like mad, creating threaded
workers that open a socket/file and never end?

Problem with today's modular software: they start with the modules
and never get to the software part.
