You have a motherboard wich does not support the SRM console, only the
AlphaBios.  Currently, FreeBSD only boots from the SRM console.  There
were people working on booting FreeBSD from the AlphaBios, but I
believe the project is stalled, possibly due to a lack of
documentation.
