You should have spoke up a long time ago, when Maxim proposed this
addition.  Now you're asking for another very large diff for little or
no benefit.

You shouldn't go and change your ports just because you disagree with
the now-standard changes.  You had your chance to oppose it.

And this is missed how, when you can simply use ``make fetch''?
