I've configured my FreeBSD box to talk to an Alcatel 1000 ADSL modem via PPTP.
Works fine, at least for the local FreeBSD machine.  I haven't gotten it to work
as a gateway for the other machine on my LAN yet, but that may be partially due
to a Windows NT configuration error on my part.
