>Release: FreeBSD 2.2-960612-SNAP i386
>Environment:

>Description:

This is the port of NCSA's Hierarchical Data Format
	software (libraries, utilities, documentation).
ImageMagick makes use of it (among other things).

>How-To-Repeat:

	The HDF_lib.tar.gz is already in
		ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/incoming
This is my first attempt to make a real FreeBSD-port,
so it is likely to have some problems.

It can optionally be built to use the preinstalled jpeg
and z-libraries (NCSA's package uses the older releases
	of the libs).

	Yours,
		-mi
