I have an AMD64 3000+ running on an A-Bit AV8 http://www.abit-usa.com/products/mb/products.php?categories=1&model=175
It is a K8T800 chipset board.

It works quite well except that the onboard ethernet controller (vge) does not
work unless it is statically compiled into the kernel.
