Graphics artists? Musicians? Rendering of formatted documents prior to
printing out 500 sheets of a screwed up print job on expensive 20lb cotton
bond paper? Representing scientific and engineering data in a meaningful
way? Finite element analysis?

A carpenter doesn't _need_ a power saw, but he can do a lot more work with
one than without one.
