I don't really think this will be a problem for me, I do not use this port. I only downloaded the file you put up for download, so I do not know about CVS index. I suppose I'd have to configure something in order to have 'make fetchindex' get the right index for me. I won't try that until it turns out the reported warnings cause problems.
