I know, and I'm using a dash in a couple of other ports - security/mhash, net/p5-WWW-Curl, mail/vpopmail, etc. However, with the cURL port it's mainly a matter of consistency and preserving the status quo at the price of ignoring the portlint warnings :) I moved from the patch-aa to the :: convention several years ago, and there are quite a lot of patches that would need repo-copying should I decide to use a dash instead. Still, thanks for the gentle reminder - in general :) G'luck, Peter --=20 Peter Pentchev roam@ringlet.net roam@cnsys.bg roam@FreeBSD.org PGP key: http://people.FreeBSD.org/~roam/roam.key.asc Key fingerprint FDBA FD79 C26F 3C51 C95E DF9E ED18 B68D 1619 4553 because I didn't think of a good beginning of it. --RnlQjJ0d97Da+TV1 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.8 (FreeBSD) iEYEARECAAYFAkgPOtEACgkQ7Ri2jRYZRVPDGwCfVcvcB9rieUbnCffQGknxM4xf +LQAn3djzsRN7fQ0IZ3pqia7ciOPX+E9 =kSTG -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --RnlQjJ0d97Da+TV1--
