>Description:
Port textproc/xerces-c2 (based on XERCES 2.7) seems to be a little bit outdated, since version 2.8 and even 3.1.1 already exist. Some of our software from the USGS require a newer version of the Xerces library so I was asking whether the new version 3.1.1 could be adopted as a port.
