I'm sorry everyone.  This was really poor form.

Lesson's I've learned:
1) When you test build, make sure you use the source tree that you
actually applied the patches to.
2) Testing individual components of a change in isolation doesn't
always catch that.  (eg: the procstat change didn't cause a problem
without the <sys/user.h> update in /usr/include)
3) I need some bandages for my foot.
