Bless you Mat! I was tempted to send my question to
the port maintainer, perl@freebsd.org, but that seemed too general

My bad.... & apologies for improper protocol.

Appreciate your efforts and consideration.

Best regards,

| Spamassassin-2.64---> 3.0.0...??

I've made a patch available at :
<http://people.freebsd.org/~mat/p5-Mail-SpamAssassin-3.0.0.diff>;
it lacks SSL support for spamc/spamd, but I'll do that on Monday.

My current plan is to update the port to 3.0.0, and maybe to ask for a
repocopy of the actual 2.64 to something like mail/p5-Mail-SpamAssassin-264
because of API changes and perl 5.005_03 compability.

ps: you could have asked the port maintainer, perl@freebsd.org :-)
