I meant, have you made a qualitative comparison of the two
code bases?  That's what DES asked you to do, in the post
you were replying to, when he asked for complaints.

If you think this is not an improvement, or isn't simply
change for the sake of change, then you should speak up,
after you have looked at the code that's there, and the
proposed replacement.
