grep(1) is your friend (maybe even global(1) now, but my tree ain't
tagged already).  FreeBSD's style guide requires function names being
the first on a line, so the regexp for this is simple.

j@uriah 61% grep ^kmem_alloc /sys/*/*
/sys/vm/vm_kern.c:kmem_alloc_pageable(map, size)
/sys/vm/vm_kern.c:kmem_alloc(map, size)
/sys/vm/vm_kern.c:kmem_alloc_wait(map, size)
