Are you 100% sure that yoru kernel and your binaries are in
sync?  Check the timestamps on your kernel, libkvm and top.

Also check the output of ,,sysctl kern.bootfile'' to verify
that this is really running the kernel that you think it is.

Did you accidentally strip your kernel?  This would also
result in the above error message.

Other than that, I have no idea.
