We use clamav-milter in conjunction with spamass-milter to filter virii
and spam. clamav-milter is extremely easy to install and configure, and
works very well "out of the box". Though, there are a few stability
issues in the latest release version (in ports). My advice is to use the
latest CVS snapshot from clamav.net, and subscribe to the clamav users
mailing list for updates. Still, we're running clamav in production,
handling thousands of messages per hour, and it hasn't missed a beat
with the snapshot from a few days ago. Much better than taking support
calls from the hundreds who would have been infected with the SCO worm
by now. :-)
