Umm, it worked fine on my box running 2.1R until last week, when I upgraded to 2.1.5-Alpha, and it still works fine. :) Are you sure the modem is correctly configured to raise the proper signals when it answers the phone? Also, try hitting return before expecting the login prompt. Nate
