Ran into a server with an unknown root password. Booted single-user and
couldn't for the life of me get the partition to remount as rw. I was
directed by someone on IRC to try fsck, and to my surprise the filesystem
was in an inconsistent state. The surprise was because I had done a clean
shutdown with CTRL-ALT-DEL. Anyway, I think it might be a good idea to
include an fsck of / in the FAQ entry.
