Subject: 3d - new category?

As hardware acceleration is becoming available for more cards under FreeBSD,
I expect to see a *lot* more of 3d software.

With the present categorization this stuff will vanish somewhere in
the Bermuda of games, graphics and x11.

What do you folks think of it?

- should 3d applications simply be filed into the present system,
- would an opengl category be useful,
- or is it better to specialize (games-3d, graphics-3d, x11-3d)?

Regards,
Marc
