Following up ...

Booting the 9-stable kernel with the patch from =
http://www.freebsd.org/~jhb/patches/mfi.patch, modified to use =
pci_alloc_msi with hw.mfi.msix=3D1 boots OK. Haven't put any load on it =
yet. Will try the plain patch without the pci_alloc_msi change.
