IIRC, there have been reports of wavelan working on hpcmips.  Since
mips tends to be a hard platform to write device drivers for.  A
number of assumptions that hold true for the wintel box don't hold
true at all (cache coherency, PA <-> VA translation, etc).  I'd
strongly suspect that the wi driver works.
