No there isn't, but there is a piece of software which does it :)

apcmon talks to APC UPS's and works fairly well, thought its a small pain to
set up.. But given that its a collection of shell scripts, it works well :)

Unfortunatley I don't know where it was found, but I put a copy on
ftp://cain.gsoft.com.au/apcmon-1.28a.shar.Z
