I am running POP3 mail server on FreeBSD 2.0.5 and it has been working fine for quite a long time. Now, however, I get the following error when I try to log in using a package such as SPRY mail with the user id dwolfe: Unable to login POP3: -ERR Flush of temp pop dropbox /var/mail/.dwolfe.pop failed I tried deleting the lock file .dwolfe.pop from /var/mail and this still did not correct the problem.
