Pahh - it doesn't even take 3h with mine. :-)))
(in single-user, /usr mounted asnc and 10 cc's a time)

Gone are the days, one needed 6 days....

OK, better would be:
shutdown -now
mount -u -o async /usr
(or wherever your source lies)
make world -j10

If you live in a country, where power-supply sometimes drops: leave out
the -o asnyc bits......
