Please let me > know how it goes if you try the patch! This was committed on April 3rd as revision 190681, and so is now available in 8.0-CURRENT and will be in the upcoming 8.0 release. For the in-tree G5 support, the note about using CPUTYPE no longer applies. Enjoy! -Nathan
