It was the only way I found to make a ppp link with a red hat 6.0 
distribution...

If they said to not waste your time with it is because the editing of our 
/etc/ppp/ppp.conf is so userfriendly that it is not the worth to install 
anything else...
But if you like the cute interfaces it is what you are looking for....-
