There are definitely users in Sweden who would be interested in a
fast local server.  I don't personally live there but I know some
people who do.  They mostly use ftp.dk.freebsd.org, I believe.

You should probably use ftp-master.eu.freebsd.org instead.  Ask
Rudolf Cejka <cejkar@fit.vutbr.cz> for access.
