He has a G7 blade and if it has a 10G NIC, he could try this driver:
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/sys/dev/bxe/

I've never had a chance to try it, though.

If it's a 1GB NIC, I don't know what hardware they actually use, but I
suppose it's supported in FreeBSD 9.0
