--- Comment #7 from Nikolay Denev <ndenev@gmail.com> ---
I will give it a try (running CURRENT) if time permits, as the full rebuild
will take me some time (I don't have a separate build env setup correctly, and
rebuilding on the Soekris itslef takes a few days :D )

Anyways, I've just tried a shortcut and manually applied a bf_next fix I've
found : http://svnweb.freebsd.org/base?view=revision&revision=264710
And not I no longer see these messages.
Apart from having to do a "ifconfig wlan1 down && ifconfig wlan1 up" after
reboot[1] it seems to work and I just pushed a 60 secs of iperf over the AP
wlan :

[ 5] local 10.0.0.1 port 5001 connected with 10.0.0.173 port 61317
[ 5] 0.0-60.0 sec 615 MBytes 86.0 Mbits/sec

[1]: after reboot I see wlan1 as "no carrier", while it is UP and hostapd is
runing. If I do down/up if starts working.
